there are some schools i plan on applying ED/EA, and others i'm applying to for regular decision... is it ok to send my complete app to the ED/EA schools so they can start reviewing, then take the SAT/SAT subject tests later and only send it to the schools i'm applying to for regular decision? or is that considered, like, sketchy, or something??

I’m not sure if i completely understand your question so if i miss something let me know!

I’m going to assume you’ve taken the SAT before and you’re sending that score to colleges first. And you’re planning on taking the SAT again…if the schools your applying to accept ScoreChoice, you do not have to reveal that you are taking the SAT again…but if they require you to submit all scores, you have to put down the date you’re planning on taking the test and then submit the score when you receive it. That being said, most EA and ED schools only accept test scores taken before November i believe so if you take the SAT in December, you’re not obligated to report that score to any EA or ED school, even if they do not accept score choice. This is my understanding, if i’m wrong, someone please correct me.

Hope i answered your questions.

I actually have not taken the SAT before… the colleges that I’m applying Early to do not require it, and my cousin who works at one of the colleges i’m applying to said that with a high ACT score, the SAT could probably hinder more than help (here in the midwest, the ACT is kinda more popular than the SAT)… for the schools i’m applying RD to, which require either the SAT or the Subject Test, I can just take the SAT or Subject Tests in December (how about November?), and not have it affect my app to the EA/ED schools? Or have I got this completely wrong?
