<p>My son's first 2 years of HS were not stellar...his GPA reflects this. His transcript shows steady improvement. His top choice has not rejected him, but asks for a personal statement explaining his lack-luster performance early on as well as submitting semester 7 grades. What should be in this essay other than "I grew up?"</p>
