College Rescind question

Just wondering how certain colleges decide for you a limit as to what grades you have to get to not be rescinded. Do they just determine it from your previous grades?

If so, if I have straight A's, but end up with one C and maybe one B my second semester senior year, am I in danger of being rescinded?

Specifically, if anybody has first-hand experience, what are the general requirements to not get rescinded for Stanford or Berkeley?

You may have to explain the C. Some colleges (Stanford and Berkely probably included, due to their high selectivity) will contact you for grades dipping noticeably and demand explanation. I don't think a B or two will raise any problems, but you may want to avoid Cs if you can.

No you will not get rescinded b/c of a C...
