College rescinding based on attendance??

Okay so I got into an ivy and have enrolled. I have/am keeping my grades up (all As and one or two Bs). However, I have missed around 7/8 days this quarter out of 40. Can a school rescind your acceptance based on attendance?? Please any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Ds Fs Felonies or Fraud. Avoid those.

No one — I mean NO ONE cares about your attendance.

Were these excused absences?
I have never heard of someone getting rescinded for this reason alone-I could see it as a possibility only if there were consequences to the grades or disciplinary action as a result of unexcused absences.

7 or 8 days shouldn’t be an issue -especially if they were excused absences and if you can keep your grades up through the end of the semester.
However if you’re smart enough to be admitted by an Ivy you should also be smart enough to not jeopardize your attendance at a top university by something as stupid as skipping a couple days of school.

See @T26E4’s response. Colleges care about your performance, not your attendance.

Yep. Unless you mimic the Teaneck NJ Senior Prank or avoid some other expulsion or suspension, you literally could stop showing up at school for the rest of the year as long as you get your grades.
