College Resume Chances?

I’m a Junior in High School and have taken mostly rigorous classes with decent grades. I participate in multiple E.C.s but have very little community service/volunteering hours. How likely am I to get into CalTech with this current transcript:

Classes-

Freshman Year: All honors that were available and ended up with straight As.

Sophomore Year: AP Chem (4), AP Euro (3), AP Seminar English and other honors courses. AP Chem and AP Euro I got Bs in because those are the hardest courses my school has to offer; otherwise, straight As.

Junior Year: APUSH, BC Calc, AP Lang, AP Comp Sci, AP Bio, French III. Last Semester I got a B+ in Calc and Lang, and As in the rest of my classes. This semester I’m trying to maintain straight As (successful thus far)

Senior Year: AP Physics C, Calc 3 (Sponsored by UIC), AP Psych, AP Research [English], AP French, AP Stats.

Academics-

Cumulative Weighted: 4.382
Cumulative Weighted: N/A
Rank: 16 of 381
ACT: 30 (Confident I can boost it up to 33/34. Took it a while ago)
SAT: 1480
SAT Chemistry: 780

E.C.s-

Band/Marching Band: 1 year
Speech Team: 1 year
Sound Crew for Fall Play/Musical: 3 years (+1 Senior year)
Math Team: 3 years (+1 Senior year) Have gone to state all 3 years, but no awards
Scholastic Bowl: 3 years (+1 Senior year)
Science Olympiad: 3 years (+1 Senior year)
WYSE: 1 year (+1 Senior year)
Soccer: 1 year
Tennis: 3 years (+1 Senior year) Varsity for 2 years

Volunteering-

None yet, but will do 4 hours a week over the summer at a local hospital

Work Experience-

Shadowed Dentist and Orthodontist for a combined 30 hours

I hate to say it but not much, for just the academics, to have a real shot you need to aim for the middle 50% of accepted students. Cal tech middle 50% ACT 34-36. After you get to the middle 50% go for strong STEM ECs and hope for the best. Plus shadowing dentist/orthodontist is a big minus, it seems that you want that career which is not a good match with cal tech.

Also it seems like you have participated in some stem activities, but haven’t won awards or risen to leadership positions in them, which does not reflect well. Of course, no one can accurately predict your chances and you still have a year left. Best of luck.

? Why would shadowing an orthodontist be a minus? It shows you’re exploring careers.
