just reading all of this, im gettin pumped for football season. I can't wait, we got Tennessee, Auburn, and FSU at home this year. Its gonna get crazy. I can still get chills when I think about Jarvis Moss blocking the SOuth Carolina field goal to win the game.. I brought my friend to that game, and afterward he said he was now a gator (he used to not like florida).

The night of the South Carolina game was pure crazy. Steve Spurrier's return to the swamp, a very tight game where SC probably played their best football the whole season, and it all came down to one blocked kick. No national championship if Ryan Succop made the field goal.

9-3 at worst for my Gators :D

Ohio State-Michigan
Auburn-Alabama
Army-Navy (for the alum and students at least)

Definitely Army vs Navy. i went to a summer program at army and everytime we sat down we had to shout "Beat Navy". plus they have a beat navy tunnel that's pretty intense right there

Army could be 0-10 and if they beat Navy it makes their season...

This is what u call a real football rivalry game..
Look at that stadium packed with 80,000 + at the OB.

Similar games if not better rivalry games:
- OSU/Michigan
- Florida/South Carolina
- Notre Dame/USC (or UCLA)

Packers/Bears

oh....wait a minute.....

Army/Navy gets my vote.

I couldnt resist... but it gets kinda repetitive

I haven't seen that video, nice...

Florida is #1, no doubt about that. :)

I have be honest with my Gator friends, that video is pretty weak. It sounds like it was recorded inside a dorm room.

Here's how you do it:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=66EGupRNDYU

And for the old school fans, the original Seminole Rap from 1989.

U of M - Ohio State defines college rivalry. If you live in michigan or ohio you either hate ohio state or you hate michigan. That football game gets higher ratings than most bowl games

Of course, there's always the Warchant on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU-XXy99xVw

Listen, Its all about THE U when it comes to football...

Aside from several rap songs, we even have a commercial...

Check it out right here:

In addition to the mostly Division I rivalries that have already been mentioned, I’d like to ask posters with knowledge of the Division III programs to identify the top rivals for these schools which don’t get mentioned often in the athletic realm. Who are the top rivals for these schools and how does they affect the school's campus and the overall undergraduate experience?

Homecoming games at Wesleyan are nearly always played against Amherst or Williams; the center of the school becomes one big athletic field against an academic backdrop; alumni arrive from all over the east coast; you may have a crowd of 7,000 where the day before there was nothing but grass and frisbee players. Football has not had a homecoming win in many years; but, soccer, and field hockey hold their own. Wes ranks 34th in DIII sports overall.

Duke-Wake Forest
