College Ruled Paper?!

Is it true that you are supposed to only use college ruled paper in classes?!
I read this somewhere so I just want to get it clarified...

Thanks!

The only time you will use filler paper is when taking notes. Everything else is done on the computer. Say goodbye to the Eighties and hello to a new century!

christypooh, have you been using wide ruled all this time??
It doesn't matter what you use, since nobody's going to grade your notes.

College ruled is better because you can fit more on 1 page.

make your notebooks last longer.

So that is a term left over from the 80s..interesting. So most of you still take notes on paper? No switchers to tablet pcs, eh?

I saw a demo of the Tablet PCs at Best Buy and I liked it. However, the guy that did it (he was from Microsoft) seemed like he was doing a lot of work to just delete converted text and stuff -- he had to use the menu a lot. But my main thing concern is that you can't write as small/fine as you normally can on paper. It's like writing with a sharpie...

Oh my god, this is one of the most ridiculous questions I've seen on this board besides "What color pencils should I bring?!" Little things like these don't quite matter, no one's going to notice.
