College(s) missing from IDOC list

My D applied to several IDOC-using colleges, and when she logs in to the IDOC section of the collegeboard website, all the colleges she expected are listed as having requested her IDOC except one, which is Columbia. Does anyone know what this means, and whether any action is needed?

Note: This question was recently posed by m7liam, who started a thread about it entitled "IDOC for international." That thread hasn't attracted any responses (except for a "me too" from me). I presume this particular issue is not specific to international applicants (since D is not), and the original thread title may be too misleading.

I’m not sure. I just checked the Columbia web site and it does say they use IDOC. I haven’t finished everything but this showed up on my screen. I don’t know if this means that Columbia has requested it or not but it looks like it.

This is all very confusing, esp that I’m filling all of this out by myself because my parents’ English is not good enough to read through ten pages of tax prompts.

Here’s the picture of what’s on my screen: http://i40.■■■■■■■.com/6omsee.png

Sorry - I deleted my post because I did see the Columbia requires IDOC. Their website is confusing … it doesn’t say anything about IDOC when you look up “apply for aid,” but it does if you search IDOC. Strange.

Call their financial aid office Monday morning to find out what is what. You should be able to pull them up & click on the name if they require IDOC. You need to find out for sure. Maybe your guidance counselor will let you call from his/her office.

from the IDOC faq page

“If your school has told you that you will receive an IDOC notification and you have not yet received one as of the second week of February, it may be that your college has not yet provided the College Board with your information. You will be notified when your college instructs the College Board to do so.”

Maybe thats the problem…
