You are probably correct. I get so frustrated by things like foreign income exclusion that I tend to figure nothing makes sense.</p>

<p>It’s from 1040, line 47, form 1116. Guess it’s actually a tax credit - but when I see the info on the form it looks like an income exclusion to me. I don’t understand it (not in my realm of experience), I just know that sometimes it’s kind of a big number!</p>
