College Scholar Program

I was recently accepted to CAS ED, and am interested in the college scholar option. I was interested if anyone could shed some light on any pro's or con's, or their experience with the program. Thanks!

Although I am doing an independent major in engineering, I feel the experience is similar.
The main thing that is important to know is that to be a college scholar, you apply your freshman year. So you really have to hit the ground running and have a strong sense of what you want to do. You must be ready to defend yourself well and support why your interests don’t fit into a traditional major.
