<p>Do colleges increase scholarship money after freshman year? Lets say one has a strong year. Would a college increase the merit money?</p>

<p>Usually, no, merit money is there to attract students to the college, that may otherwise choose a different one.</p>
<p>Depends on the school. I’ve seen alot of endowed and department scholarships for upperclassmen at private colleges. Have not seen this at publics we looked at.</p>
