I'm really going to try hard this year to get my grades up and get more involved. I also plan on volunteering at the St.Louis Science center and get a research internship this summer. However, Im kind of worried about whether or not I can get into a good school as a biomedical engineering major.

I live in the St.Louis Area, and I'm hoping to go to school out of state. So far I'm looking at Minnesota, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Case Western Reserve, and few others. Can I actually get into these schools? Also, do you know some other schools that have good biomedical engineering and science programs that are in my reach?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

You may be able to get into a school that is out of state, but whether or not you can actually attend will depend on whether or not you can afford it. Have the money talk with your parents now, so that you know what they will pay, and what they expect you to cover with scholarships, work, and loans. Then sit down with them and run the Net Price Calculator at the website of each of the places that interest you to find out if any of them fall within your own family’s affordable range.

Yeah, I’ll definitely do that. But putting costs aside, are there any schools you or anyone else would recommend based on my interests and stats?
