College Search Advice?

<p>This may end up being a lot, but I have a lot to get off my chest. I am very stressed out about choosing a college. (I know I shouldn't be, but it feels like a big deal).</p>

<p>Background:
SAT: 1310 (superscore composite)
ACT: 28
GPA 3.4
AP: US History, MacroEcon, Government, British Lit.</p>

<p>Georgia high school student looking for colleges that have lots of student organizations, beautiful campus, great college town, wide study abroad programs, and tons of extracurricular activities. Possible fields of study are: Languages, International Biz, Music Biz, Business, Tourism, sports science/management, film, just anything cool that will keep me on my toes, traveling, and good experiences. Tuition should be around 20 grand or below. I'm considering a bunch of schools right now:</p>

<p>U. of Georgia
Georgia State or Georgia College and State U.
Middle Tenn. State.
Auburn U.
LSU
West Virginia
Appalachian State</p>

<p>You do know that even though tuition may be under $20K you still have to pay an additional $10K or so for room, board and miscellaneous expenses, right? So by looking at $20K tuition schools you mean to consider $30K cost of attendance? That’s what your family can afford?</p>
