I am Looking for a big or medium college, in a large city, in california or florida.

So far I am applying to:
UMiami
Pepperdine
U Southern California
U San Diego
U San Fran

Does anyone have any other suggestions that fit?

USF in Tampa… Decent school, not on par with the others you’ve listed.
UCF in Orlando… Same story.

Beyond those two and Miami, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a good school in Florida in a large city. Maybe University of Tampa. FSU is a good school but I don’t know if Tallahassee qualifies as a large city. UF is of course the best school in FL, and I don’t think Gainesville is that much smaller than Tallahassee. It does seem like it would be a reach though (people in the top 10% of my class were rejected - only seven students admitted).

Hope this helped, at least a little bit.

San Fran and Pepperdine seem fine… but I think you’re reaching just a little too much; UMiami is very tough (if you want to keep it as a reach, go ahead), USC is one of the most competitive schools in the country and you’re outside ballpark range, and USan Diego is all top 10% students

Consider these schools:
Tampa
FSU
UC Irvine
UC Santa Cruz
UC Northridge

Hope this helps!! Please chance me back!

UMiami
San Fran
Pepperdine
USanDiego
Northeastern
IdianaU
Fordham
Maryland - college park

reach:
USC
NYU

got any other ideas?

Can your parents pay full freight at these schools? I see you’re from NY but you are not listing any SUNYs.

yes they can pay full tuition…
