College search help request. Sports Management/Marketing. Live in Wisconsin

I am just starting the college search and I am having a hard time finding universities that are affordable and have a good program in the major I would ideally choose, which is Sports Marketing. I will start with some background information.
I am Caucasian with married parents making around 100k per year. I have one sibling attending college. My parents will contribute some, but no where near enough to even cover a state school.
I do not believe I will receive substantial financial aid other than academic based.
I have a 3.95 GPA and 13 out of 534 class rank
I have not taken the ACT/PSAT but have a projected ACT of 29-32 (How reliable are projections?)
I have solid extra curriculars but nothing that will stand out.

I am posting this because I don't even really know where to start when searching. I have looked into the state schools and large Midwest universities. There is one state university with a Sports Management program, but that is not my first choice. I have looked at NU and IU Bloomington and their programs interest me but it would be far too expensive. I am wondering what options there are for schools with solid Sports Management programs that I may be able to afford. Are there any schools that have reasonable out of state tuition, or private schools with generous scholarships? Right now my backup plan is to attend UW Madison for general marketing, because it is affordable, they have a solid business school and based on the research I have done internships seem far more valuable in the field than the school you attend.

So all in all I am just looking for your suggestions on possible options, and how to even start the search.

Thank you for your time

Look into St. Thomas University in Florida. They have scholarships for someone with your GPA and test scores. If you also qualify for financial aid, this might be a posibility. They have a very old and established Sports Management program that is part of their business school. Good luck!

Have your parents run a financial aid calculator to see what aid they qualify for.

A good resource for finding relative “value” are -

[Kiplinger’s Best Values in Private Colleges-Kiplinger](http://www.kiplinger.com/tool/college/T014-S001-kiplinger-s-best-values-in-private-colleges/index.php)

Take the ACT early enough so that you can retake (and do additional prep work) it again to get the highest possible score you can. High GPA and test scores are important in trying to earn merit-based scholarships.
