Hello, I am a rising senior in High School who is searching for colleges. I'm having trouble finding good matches because I am a student with a few academic interests.

My Interests:
*Foreign Languages (I want to find a school where I can study two or three foreign languages at once without double majoring)
-I'm learning French, Spanish, and Arabic now, but I may want to branch out from there
- NYU had a pretty interesting romance language program from what I saw

*International Relations (I want to use my language skills to work abroad)

*Organ playing (I want to minor in organ playing)

*I'm looking for a school that will let me explore my interests. If it helps, I have accrued many AP and college credits already.

*I have a 99 average and I scored extremely high on the SAT.

I've conducted quite an extensive search, but I've only found a few schools that have what
I am looking for. If anyone has some ideas for colleges to look into, I'd be very grateful.
Thank you!

How much can you afford and what is your home state? Indiana State has a very good organ program.

My home state is New York. I was hoping that I could get a merit scholarship, since my family and I can only contribute about 20k per year.

It looks like there are lots of options for an organ minor. [Organ Schools](http://www.agohq.org/schools/info.html) If you’re looking for a merit scholarship, start with the schools where you would be in the top 25% for your test scores. I don’t think this is going to be an easy answer unless someone has had your same interests and can post here. I think you’re going to have to visit school websites and look at their language program and degree requirements to find what you’re looking for.

Georgetown
- Great International Relations program
- Very good foriegn languages dept
- Claim to meet 100% of need (fin aid)

The same group that has thar Organ Schools link (previous post) also has a Pipe Organ Schools listing. Georgetown is listed on that page.

If it is organ (instead of pipe organ) you’re interested in, American University has it. AU and GU are in a cross-registration consortium, along with some other DC schools. So maybe you could take Organ at American while getting your degree from Georgetown.

Just a thought.

A school that meets need may not be the best choice if the OP’s EFC is not under $20K.

OP, NYU will not be under your budget (more like 3x). Oklahoma U seems to have a pretty good language dept and they upgraded their music program and put in a new pipe organ about 10 years ago. You would get some good merit aid there.
