Hi everybody. I am looking around for colleges and need help (I am junior now). My grades are pretty much A's except for some exam slip ups in 10th grade that brought me a few B's and B+'s. My unweighted GPA is about 3.9. I will be taking AP classes (in Calculus, Physics, English) next year. My grades are pretty good.

I want to be in the midwest. I want to go to a college that has a good (and known) name in the job world (UofMN, Wisconsin Madision, Michigan, Northwestern, Chicago). On grades alone, I have a good shot to get into all of these. But, I am a slow taker (I can never finish them!), and so to no suprise, my standardized test scores are lower. I would be happy with a 26-28 on the ACT. So, if I get a 3.9 and and a 26, what are my chances of getting into each of these:

Minnesota
Wisconsin
Michigan
Northwestern
Chicago
[any other good and well known college I have left out]

bump, I really hope that some people can help me with this. I had a nice person pm about this which was very helpful. Thanks everybody; every comment is appreciated.

Michigan would be a good college to shoot for. They have a fairly high acceptance rate in comparison to other schools at around the same ranking. I think you would have a good chance to get in if you tried the ACT again (in june?).
