I am trying to decide which college to select and hope you can help me. I have been accepted to Purdue Business (lower division so I must work hard for upper division), Michigan State (can only apply for major in the second year), Ohio University (Industrial Engineering), West Virginia University (Industrial Engineering), Iowa State University (Industrial Engineering), University Iowa (Industrial Engineering), University of Delaware (Business) and Uconn.
I am currently not sure which major I really want to study but it may be industrial engineering or business (supply chain or MIS).
Cost of Purdue, Michigan State, University of Iowa are double of other universities. The cost of Ohio University, Iowa State, West Virginia and Uconn are similar after scholarships
Simple, go for the ones that cost less and offers the most flexibility. You’re not doing yourself any favors by paying triple the cost for a bachelors degree. More and more engineering fields are becoming oversaturated with bachelors degrees, which means that you might have to go to graduate school. Computers and MIS are the exception.
