College selection! I need your brains!

Ok so I have to choose between:

Indiana University of Bloomington - Kelley school of business, $2000 per year scholarship

University of Illinois Urbana Champaign - Division of general study, no scholarship

If I consider the major, I'd like to go to Kelley...because I got in to their business school... and I know it's well known (relatively speaking) as a undergrad business school. Also, I really want to study marketing, which IUB provides a strong program for.

If I consider the overall ranking(because it is related to the overall level of the students on average) or reputation, I'd have to choose Illinois... But since I got into UIUC in their Division of general study and I have to apply to the business school after a year or two, I'm not so sure whether it is a better option for me. I don't know how hard it would be to get in to the business program.

Location, money are not the big issues. I'm more concerned about my future, in terms of maintaining good GPA and receiving higher quality of education, since I'm pretty sure I'm doing graduate school.

Which school would you say is a better choice for me? Please help!

Sounds like you want to go to UIUC, so if moneywise it's not a big difference, go there.

well... I do want to go to UIUC but I'm just not sure about the whole Division of General Studies thing... I wanna know more about it but it's hard to get the information...I'm probably going to e-mail them and ask about the program. Thanks for the reply!
