College sent application materials

When we request information from colleges, some of them will actually mail us the Common Application.. Must we use them (school counselor ad teachers recoms)? Are we at a disadvantage if we were to give our teachers copies of the home printed ones?

What if I mixed up the application materials.. for example using the Common Application sent by college A for college B.. will the know? I know sometimes the color of the Com App sent by colleges are different..

I suggest you just go on commonapp.org to get it all done.

I was referring to the teacher portions.. Should I use those sent by the colleges..

Doesn’t matter. Your teachers will fill out one form and make copies. That’s accepted, the forms will get into your file, and you’ll be all set.

So I’ll just give my teacher the home printed ones? Well, I don’t want my teachers to photocopy them.. I want them to do it 10 times..

Yes, you can give them the home printed ones. And no, they’re not going to do it 10 times. You’re not the only student they’re doing recommendations for. Copies are just fine.
