How do they differ? Did they for you? Do you have more friends now than you did in high school?

I like college a lot more. I have a lot more friends than I did in high school. Idk, college is just better in every way lol. People grow up more, well most people do, and generally people are more mature. College is also bigger than high school so there are more people to meet and such. Plus you generally live with or really close to your friends which is really nice.

I have no friends in college. The only friends I have are those from high school.

@sweet: You tight.

Lalwz. I love ignorant people. Lilkdub, you do know that that doesn’t necessarily mean for sweetlacecharm is lonely right? People have different definitions of the word “friend.” But then again, you’re probably one of those people who think just because you know somebody by face means you’re friends.

Anyway, practically all of my friends are HS friends. I developing one friendship here but my group of friends are HS friends. And the HS friendships mean a lot to me just because I feel the fact that we’re dispersed and still keep in touch and hang out when we’re back in town says a lot. It’s easy for someone to be your friend when you see that person everyday; not so easy when you have to start putting in effort to continue the friendships and all of my HS friends (and myself) put in the effort to keep the friendships alive. I love my HS friends to death. Dey duh bombz!

But I’m not going to sleep on making friends in college. Mind you, I’m only a freshman, and mind you that my group of HS friends didn’t become my close friends until Junior year of HS. So I don’t know what the future holds.

College+You= Freedom and self dependence
High School+You= Misery and annoying teachers, parents, and everyone else you know
