Right now I go to a community college because it's cheaper and I really didn't think I would get into any top schools. The two schools that catch my interest the most are UF and Cornell. I know both schools are hard to get into, especially Cornell. I want to be a Biology major, but an Animal Science major at Cornell because I would get in with that major better. I'm not sure if I will be accepted to any of these schools, so I need back ups. I really do not know what schools suit me besides those two. I need suggestions. I just want to go to a good school and get the grades to get into vet school. An institution with a good undergraduate Biology program would catch my interest. I prefer to stay in the Florida region, but if Florida doesn't have many good schools, I'm thinking out of state. I have my AA degree, I'm just finishing some prereqs before I transfer. Please chance me and give suggestions. I'm Hispanic by the way and a first generation college student. I took many science prereqs such as: BioI/II, Microbiology, A&PI/II, ChemI/II. (Only Chem and General Bio are required, but I took additional science electives.) I never take light course loads and I usually take 2 science or math classes each semester. I also work part time. I also prefer to go to a college that doesn't care about standardized test scores.I chose not to send mine to Cornell (it's one of the only ivies that doesn't require scores if you're a transfer).
