is anyone afraid of not being able to do well in college? i mean, i'm sure we are all great students in hs, otherwise we wouldn't have been accepted (barring the high yield rate this year)

ucla has an undergrad population of 25,000people. that's a LOT. is it really competitive?? hard to do well, in comparison to your high-achieving peers?

those who do go to ucla- when you first entered, did you have problems getting used to the workload or the difficulty of the work you had to do?

Yeah, I'm a little anxious about college. UCLA's classes have been known to be really difficult...

ha im scared as well. goin into engineer.. sounds very intimidating. But im hopeful for the future. I know i'll land a good job 5 years from now. Im optimistic. I know whatever happens at UCLA when its all said and then i'll look back and say.. i had fun.

At least you're stressed out about it. This one girl at my school who is going to UCLA believes that it is an easy four-point-oh...btw, her intelligence is questionable.

yeah i was nervous going in. im one of those people who really doesnt like B's. so far it's been fine. i have a 3.9 right now (last quarter freshman). it's good to be a little stressed about it because at least your mind is in the right place, u know? you ARE here ultimately to achieve a great education. good luck :)

Really, there's just so many factors that go into determining what UCLA will be like for you, that it's really impossible to say whether it's "hard" or "easy." Everyone's experience is different.
