College Student In Need Of Advicing

Hello

I wrote a while ago about how i have not been doing well in school. I am a sophomore and i took summer classes that put me on probation, now i am not doing so good this fall and if i finish this way, i will be on suspension from the university.

However, the reason for my problems since summer was emotional and very personal. I am going to appeal for a post midterm withdrawal so i can heal from all this. So here are my questions;

I am changing my major from Psychology to Public health even though i will have to stay an extra year from my normal graduation date, i will still do premed and this time around i am starting afresh and i will do very good because i will take time to go home and heal with my family.

What are my chances for medical school with Ws in a whole semester but then improvement after that and possibly a 3.6 GPA after graduation?

Yes, i also have a plan B, i would go to graduate school to get a master's in public health. What are my chances for graduate school too?

Thank you

Right now, do not worry about chance for this or that. Although it would sound like a better plan to go for the MS. First things first, focus on taking care of yourself, trying to get that medical withdrawal which will be explainable, and returning to college and doing well for a year. Then you assess your possible routes to take. You need a track record for any chances and you don’t have that now. So keep in the moment and take care of business. Best of luck.

Thank you.

I will do just that.
