I have 20 gigs of music. 20 gigs of music that would turn you all off faster than beastiality porn.

i forgot that i'd brought about 20 or 30 of my vinyls from home along with my record player, everything from 80s New York Hardcore to negro spirituals, with tons of classical in between. not much, but those things are damn big and heavy, i wasn't about to bring the rest...

That's what a blast beat and grunting vocals will do to people. Death metal is by far some of the greatest **** to blast in your sound system. Especially when you have a nice one. Just ****ing brutal.

Haha I don't like that kind of metal because it's either WAY too happy/hyperactive (Sonata Arctica) or the vocals just aren't worth listening to (Opeth). I agree it's fun to blast, but I'd sacrifice brutality for some musicality.

I'm a huge music nerd (and a musician)--I have about 19,000 songs (86GB) from a wide variety of genres and eras. The only stuff I hate is pop country, pop rap, and emo/pop punk. Also all that crappy 80s stuff that cover bands play at frat parties--Journey, etc. God, if I hear "Don't Stop Believing" yelled by some retarded New Jersey kid (I don't know why but it seems that everyone at my school from NJ likes terrible music) one more time I'm going to rip the Natty Light out of his fist-pumping hand and slowly pour it on his meticulously gelled hair and popped polo (he'll of course be oblivious to this sequence of events because he is so engaged in the glorious music of Journey).

My favorite band is Umphrey's McGee, a "jam band" if you will, but really a lot different than your typical jam bands.

My last.fm page

Mostly metal, some riotgrrl and video game stuff, and some J-rock too.
