College submitted FAFSA correction?????

We got an email today from FAFSA that son's "correction" was processed successfully. However, we had made no changes --- filed 2/13. In a separate email, FAFSA clarified that a college had filed the correction, but did not say which of the 4 schools listed had filed this correction. After logging in and checking the correction history, all it said was "college", not which one and did not say what the correction was.
In looking at our EFC, it had not changed. But I did see a DRN number below that... not sure if it was there before or what it is.
Can anyone shed some light or advise me how to find out what the correction was?
Thank you.

One of the colleges that reviewed your FAFSA made an update based on some information that they have in your file. If the EFC didn’t change, there is nothing to be concerned about.

Most likely you were audited by the college based on other information you submitted. Did you do idoc ?

You should be able to see the new FAFSA in the correction history. Look through the answers and compare them to the previous FAFSA.

Good news is your EFC didnt change so chances are the change was either trivial or not large enough to make a difference.

Thanks guys! I compared line by line and found they lowered my son’s amount earned from work by a couple of dollars. Thank you so much.

Isn’t IDOC for CSS profile schools only? The OP is talking about FAFSA though.

I did have to do verification for all and the CSS for one school Don’t know if the information in the CSS caused the one school to perhaps change the amount. The FAFSA I had listed for my son’s income was a very small amount and probably I shouldn’t have counted even at all (he played a gig and got some “tips”) When I did the CSS, I was told not to claim those because he had to share the tips anyway and ended up giving the rest to his father and I for gas money to take him to the gig.

Did you do DRT that correct the numbers? The school probably downloaded the revised number.
