But I’d like to suggest that you not focus too tightly on HR so early in your education. Think instead about either psychology or sociology or even anthropology - the more general study of human behavior either individually or in groups. It’s a great background for someone who plans to end up in the people side of the business world. You can always spend your summers doing HR related internships, add some business courses, etc…It will also make many more schools available to you since HR is offered at many fewer schools. Keep in mind too that most students end up changing their majors within the first two years or so - not necessarily dramatically, but you do want to have choices in case HR turns out not to be what you’d hoped, or you discover other things that interest you.
