College suggestions

I am a rising senior and will be applying to colleges this year. The only problem is, I am having difficulties to come up with a list of colleges which I'd have a realistic chances of getting into. Penn State is probably the most obvious one that comes to mind (since I am from PA), but I'd like to apply to at least 5-7. I'd appreciate if you help me with suggestions.

As I said, I live in Pennsylvania, and I am specifically interested in colleges located in the Northeast region.

My stats, interests, and other info:

~ 3.55-3.59 UW/4.0 GPA
27 ACT
About 6-8 Honors and 3 AP (AP's all senior year) classes throughout high school
EC: Tennis (alternating between Varsity and JV), NHS, German Club (Vice-President), Social Justice Club. . .
Intended Major: International Relations/International Politics
White/Non Hispanic [First Generation Student; An Immigrant from Eastern Europe]
I will need at least some Financial Aid [obviously need-based]

Anyone, please?

Penn State
Pitt
Rutgers…

Take a look at George Washington University and American University in Washington DC. The internship opportunities and resources are greater here than in any other city in the US. Not sure about the financial aid, though. You’ll have to check.

I was thinking American, GW, and Pitt too. How about Dickinson, Gettysburg and F&M? Syracuse?

Hey my institution is a private, non-profit university located in Fairfax, Virginia USA. We are located about 20 miles outside of the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. they offer a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Science, and various certificates in business, computer science, medical administration. You can find a great deal of information about each individual program on the website at [Welcome to Virginia International University](http://www.viu.edu).

I hope this helps a bit!

SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Stony Brook, UMass Amherst

University of Delaware

University of Connecticut

A big warm thank you to everyone for the recommendations. :-)
