Carachel2: I was going on likely merit aid comparing RH and TU. TU is absolutely transparent, they will publish their merit aid and you can 100% count on those figures. RH is based on past experience of what they typically offer for those grades/scores.
Rice is #1 in Texas in terms of selectivity and every other measure I am aware of. TU is second to my knowledge, but if you have some other school in mind, let me know.
As far as the comparison of different UG Engineering degrees, that falls outside my area of knowledge. I can tell you the Engineering students at TU work very hard, have an awesome facility, and do very well with placement.
I feel we are getting astray from the OP’s focus…She will have wonderful options, and I wanted her to be aware of Trinity as we are also from Minnesota and my S shared almost identical stats and had the same interest in shooting sports which are embraced at Trinity.
