<p>What level? Introduction to Econ, you have a bunch of good ones.</p>
<p>Traditionally, I believe Samuelson's book was universal, but it is a little dated by today's standards. </p>
<p>I think most top universities are using Stanford University's John Taylor's book for intro to Micro these days. </p>
<p>For intermediate and advanced Micro, the University of Michigan's Hal Varian is the standard used everywhere. </p>
<p>For intermediate Macro, I'd say that Harvard's Gregory Mankiw is the standard. </p>
<p>For Labor Economics, Cornell's Ehrenberg is the bible!</p>
<p>For Econometrics and Game Theory, you have a couple of pretty major books, depending on how quantitative you want to go. </p>
