College that would just fit me

I'm a junior high school student.. I want to major in both electronic engineering (maybe chemical or mechanics) and business (management or finance) in college.
My dream was getting into M&T in UPenn.. But I don't have a best SAT score (2050) nor any outstanding awards and activities. (GPA is okay..)
Is there any school that would fit me with similar program like M&T? Known for both engineering and business? At least either one?
Or is there way to study both, like in way of studying one for under and other for graduate?

Is US news ranking reliable???...

Is interdisciplinary studies similar thing? I really don't get what it is.. Could anyone explain this with specific example? Is it major itself?

Sry about asking too much questions at once,,, but help!! I'm worried about my future..

Georgia Tech and Carnegie Mellon might be down your alley although still Low Reach type schools.

. /thread.

oops, I mean junior in high school haha.

Thanks for the clarification. We don’t get many middle-schoolers here. LOL

You’re just a junior…work to get your SAT up.

Also…take the ACT, too. Some kids do better on that. Schools will take the highest from either test.

Bucknell has a program that combines engineering/business, and would work well with your stats; I recommend looking into it some more.

Maybe Lehigh and Case Western

Worcester Polytechnnic Institute in Massachusetts? The science and technology offerings are excellent. And they have a business program. And, it’s part of the Worcester consortium of colleges, meaning that you can take courses at Clark University, Assumption College, Worcester State College and College of the Holy Cross.

Carnegis is great; Lehigh, Lafayette and Bucknell very good

Also RPI is very good

What about UC Berkeley? I live in California.

Well of course you should look into UCBerkeley, but you’ll be just one more fish in the pond, admissions-wise. Also look into other UC campuses for options. What about Cal Poly Pomona?

UCBerkeley offers a great education in both EE and business (there’s Haas)
but i don’t think it will be that much easier, given that you are OOS and you need to be very competitive to get into Haas
but you are still a junior, so start some of your ECs if you don’t have them already, you have a year left! and take the SAT again - since Cal would definitely go over your scores carefully

I thought the original poster was a resident of California.
