Wow, that’s my tax money you’re spending!!! It’s not “free”-- it’s being paid for by the tax payers of New York State. And I’ll be paying for your college, as well for my own kids’, since we don’t qualify for the Excelsior Scholarship… both my husband and I work full time.
Please don’t waste my money. I work far too hard for it.
If you commit fraud, it will cost us even more money to catch up with you – and they will.
It doesn’t matter that your old college is “better” than the one you’re hoping to attend-- a student who earns a 1.75 is still a student who earns a 1.75.
Would you consider a gap year or two while you mature a bit? Not everyone is ready for college straight out of high school. Your GPA, combined with the very idea of committing fraud, seems to imply that perhaps you could use a year or two of work in “the real world” to help you grow up.
As to your plan of attending for another year before transferring-- are both your current school and your parents going to be on board with that?
