Hey, this is kinda specific. I got accepted into Letters and Science college at Berkeley, but I want to transfer to civil engineering. I saw the prerequisites for doing so on the Berkeley site. In one section, it lists out only a bunch of sciences prerequisite courses. In another section, it says that I need to complete humanities courses as well, and on the degree worksheet, it says that I need 6 humanities courses. So I'm a bit confused. Does anyone know what I really need to transfer from sciences to engineering? Thanks

What is the confusion? UCB College of Engineering requires 6 humanities and social studies courses to graduate. However, you do not need to have completed all of them when you apply to change from some other college to the College of Engineering. But the schedule is tighter for math and physics courses and similar requirements, which you should start as soon as you can on those.

Thanks for the reply. So that means I still need to be taking humanities courses before I attempt to transfer right?
