College vs. high school

Do you think you work harder in high school or college? to me i think high school. but if ur plannin on grad school i guess it might not be the case. hmm anyway let me know your opinions./

College because I'm paying for tuition.

This varies... students who coasted through HS often find they have to work harder in college. Students who worked incredibly hard in HS to try to get into top schools may find college a bit more relaxed, regardless of where they end up. And, if you really want to coast through college, astute course selection will probably enable you to do that at many schools.

I'd say college because you're taking more classes that you actually want to take, whereas in high school you can't.

College since your not the only kid in the class who cares.

College, because you are the only one actually making sure you get stuff done.

I'm working extremely hard in high school, so I think college might be a tad easier. I agree with Roger; I think I'm going to find college a bit more relaxed.

I think in high school you probably do more work, but college you do harder work. Personally, I prefer the quality over quanity approach ;)
High school: lots of busy work, homework counts
College: all lecture based, homework optional, classes more interesting

College. I'm not paying for High School, it's not going to get me a job.

Highschool can get you jobs. Not great jobs, but it can still get you jobs.

High School is easy for me at least. It's been four years of showing up and sitting in a chair.

That is true. I used to be the only one or few that actually cared about my grades in high school. Now I'm not the one that is so motivated I guess.

college.. cause i'm paying for it. :O

i think college will be a lot harder for me because i'm just skipping through high school right now

I think it could go both ways. In high school, you are trying to keep your grades up to get into college and then keep your admission. In college, basically your only goal is graduation, so all you have to do is pass. Still, it takes more effort to pass in college than high school, because you don't have stuff like "completion grades". Also, if you are like me, and have a scholarship to keep, you will be working harder because if you don't, you'll be in the hole a few thousand bucks each year.

College...because I'm studying what I WANT to study, not what's been forced on me.

Imo college is more than just graduating. If one wants to get into a top tier grad/law/med school you need good grades, not just to pass. So if you decide to pursue a higher degree, the worrying about admissions isn't gone quite yet.
