hi guys first post here...ok now be brutally honest but dont criticise too much please...im going to tell u my situation im 19 (ill be 20 in 6 months) and i never played a down of football...i understand the basic defenses such like cover 2 3 4 so on so the terminology and learning curve wouldnt be a problem... im 5'7'' 140 and i havent lifted weights since i graduated in 05...ive always wanted to play football all my life but for some reason everytime the chance came around i never took advantage...since ive graduated i thought about maybe taking sometime and just lifting and putting weight on i think i could easily get 160 by july i have 100% confidence in my speed even though most people that watch me move say im more quick then fast but my grades would be the grades of someone who pretty much didnt care about school (Bs but mostly Cs n below) now i understand walk-ons are perferred to have highschool experience but i know i could play an excellent corner no doubt in my mind...but if i decide to go through this then that means football will be priority and this is when the question comes in...after reading everything about me do you think i would have a good enough shot to make a D2 team?? and if so which colleges would give the walk ons a fair look?? if you need anymore info let me know on the thread ill provide you with more
