Oh and more schools:
NYU v. College of William and Mary
Swarthmore v. Cornell
U Richmond v. Oberlin

NYU - awesome math department, NYC is nice.
Swarthmore - elite, nerdy LAC. What could be better?
Oberlin - heard Richmond was like a country club.

UPenn vs. Chicago
Penn State vs. UIUC
McGill vs. Edinburgh

Wow, so far I’ve seen Brown, Swarthome, and Georgetown over Cornell haha, I’m afraid to enter this thread.

BC vs Georgetown
Dartmouth vs Amherst
DePaul vs Loyola (Chicago campus)

I would’ve said Vanderbilt over NYU

Georgetown (?! Not a big fan of either)
Ooh, tough one: Amherst (I guess)
Loyola

^Vanderbilt is probably better academically (I don’t know much about it). But I chose NYU mostly for the location… Manhattan wins over Tennessee any day, in my book.

Wharton (upenn) vs. Princeton
Cornell vs. Duke
Rice vs. Berkely

Princeton

Middlebury - I know someone who went there and loved it.
Caltech - California, math.
Wellesley - I’d be the only guy there.

Rice vs. WashU

UNC vs. Wake Forest

Georgetown or UVA

Rice - WashU feels more “fake” to me somehow. Probably untrue, but that’s the feeling I get from all of their admissions shenanigans, etc. But both are definitely strong; it’s hard to pick either way.
UNC - Barely heard of Wake Forest…probably because I live in Washington.
UVA - It seems to me that UVA is better overall in terms of academic breadth, while Georgetown has specific things that it shines at.

Berkeley vs. UMich
UChicago vs. Princeton
London School of Economics vs. Imperial College

Berkeley
Princeton
