<p>I am curious as to what college students do on weekend days... at my school, unless there is a football game, it seems that no one does anything. It really drives me crazy to sleep till 1 and then just sit in my room, only leaving to eat and then to get drunk later that night. So im wondering what other people do to fill their saturdays and sundays (besides schoolwork).</p>

<p>Sometimes partying. Sometimes maybe just hang out with other people. Catch up on sleep. Catch up on homework.</p>
<p>Hm, mainly hanging out with my friends, going to football game (if there's one), catching up on schoolwork, going to student activities sponsored movies, attending an event or two on campus...</p>
<p>Homework, sleep. We watch a lot of movies. My school shows movies every weekend that are in that stage between being in theaters and on video, for $2. So we went and saw one of those this weekend. Lots of movies in the dorm rooms too. My residence hall has socials of some sort every weekend, whether it be karaoke or 4 square. The school puts on activities too; they bring in comedians and stuff, and last weekend they showed a movie on the big screen out on one of the big lawns. A lot of people have board games so we play those. There's a sand volleyball pit outside my dorm so people play volleyball. But mostly I do homework and sleep.</p>
<p>Lol, same thing as monarch said here. It seems as if we have almost identical schools. But my schools weekends tend to focus more on parties and destroying things/having fun with cops. Btw, I got to UCONN.</p>
<p>My school's literally deserted on weekends. While there are frat parties and drunk people around "The Row" at night, there really isn't much to do on campus then. I think that should change for next Saturday, when we have our first home football game. </p>
<p>My friends and I are exploring a new part of LA each weekend. Either that, or just being lazy.</p>
<p>I cannot stand sleeping til 1 and getting nothing done but I think that for the most part kids get up around 10 which is okay because that means that I've already showered and gotten ready before anyone is awake. Weekends consist of football, movies(at the theater... it's nice to get OFF campus and see the real world), long lunches, going out for dinner, and STUDYING... lots of STUDYING. Get everything done for the next two weeks and even if you can't do it then prepare and pre read stuff. Hey... its better than sitting and doing nothing.</p>
<p>Doesn't anyone else work?</p>
<p>Depending on where your college is located, can't you and your friends do some off-campus siteseeing or something? Just sitting around your dorm room waiting to get drunk at night seems like a total waste of time and humanity! </p>
<p>What are you doing (did you do) on weekends while in hs?</p>
<p>I go and ride on my school's equestrian team, do chores, go play in the darkroom, and then go drinking, then wake up nice and late on sunday, do work, then do more darkroom stuff. its fun</p>
<p>saturday - sleep late after friday parties, go to a football game, random events sponsored by organizations like the Student Activities Organization and Outing Club
saturday night - frat parties (often with good bands) galore</p>
<p>Sunday - study, study, study</p>
