College with good Pre-med and Engineering?

So my girlfriend, who will be a junior this year, and I, who will be a senior, were trying to see if we could find a college that we could both go to. I know that it sounds ridiculous to pick a college based on a girl...but I haven't made a decision yet. I would like to know if there was a good college we could both go to that had decent pre-med and engineering programs. The only one I've come up with thus far is Duke. Does anyone know of any others? Thanks!

What are your stats? What kind of schools are you looking for? Big? Small? Private? Public? Do you need financial aid? Where do you live? How far away are you looking at?

Pre-med is just a set of required classes, you could be a creative writing or women’s studies major and do pre-med.

Duke’s Pratt school of engineering is extremely good. Very reputable, high national presence, former Dean Kristina Johnson really pulled her weigh and developed Pratt to where it is right now. Duke’s engineering program is also ranked very highly too.

Johns Hopkins is another excellent school that is on par with Duke on the premed level. Hopkins engineering is highly reputable as well. Ranked among the top 15 undergraduate engineering schools in the nation, it does very well comparatively relative to Duke. (Whiting School of Engineering is actually in fact better than pratt)

Another very good choices with superb engineering departments (better than Hopkins and Duke) with pretty good premed programs as well is UMichigan.

Northwestern is on par with Hopkins and Duke as well. Northwestern’s engineering program is infact tied with Hopkins and is considered extremely reputable in both premed and engineering.

Princeton, Stanford, and MIT also come to mind. They are good for premed and engineering, and they give their undergrads an incredible amount of research opportunities.

Go to Northwestern instead of PSM because the risk of one but not both getting in is less. :)

Thanks for the help so far
