<p>So in case you didn't know, Carolina is returning to the CWS Finals this year. They're two wins about from being 3-time National Champions!</p>

<p>They also have the highest team gpa in the CWS! Eric Payne won the award for highest individual gpa (Roth won last year!) Great players! Great students!</p>

<p>That’s great to hear! I had about 10 student athletes (including a couple of baseball players who have been key so far in the CWS) in one of my general ed classes this semester (about 20 students total) and all were really impressive. They definitely work hard both on and off the field!</p>
<p>I expect USC to even the series tonight with a victory behind Roths arm… Marzilli and Walker will do the damage…</p>
<p>^I’d hope so, but either way, I’m still really proud of this team. The amount of freshmen they have as starters just shows how hard they have worked this year to make it this far. They lost a lot of good players last year.</p>
<p>There isn’t a single All-American player on that team, but here they are fighting for another National Championship. I’ll be rooting for them tonight and hopefully tomorrow night.</p>
<p>Even though they didnt win they had a great year. This team worked so hard winning games that could of easily gone either way. It is a real tribute to Coach Tanner and the senior leadership on the team… Great job… bring on the football</p>
<p>They did an amazing job! I’m so proud of what they have accomplished this year.</p>
<p>They only returned THREE starters this year and half of the starters on the team were freshmen.</p>
<p>There’s a lot of youth in the team and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see them back in Omaha next year.</p>
<p>Arizona did an amazing job too. It’s almost impossible to beat a team where 8/9 of your batters hit over .300. Their offense was just crazy good.</p>
