Collegeboard gives TRANSFER STATS

I don't know if you guys know this, but the Collegeboard has statistics on how many transfer students applied last year, and how many were accepted. I think most schools are listed.

here are a few figures:
(schools I applied to)

UVa:
Total number of transfer students who applied: 2,210
Total number of transfer students who were admitted: 896

Virginia Tech:
Total number of transfer students who applied: 2,417
Total number of transfer students who were admitted: 1,066

James Madison:
Total number of transfer students who applied: 1,743
Total number of transfer students who were admitted: 1,039

Boston U:
Total number of transfer students who applied: 1,829
Total number of transfer students who were admitted: 637
^^^ TOUGH

Wow! The statistics look pretty good for us at JMU. :)

They look really good for UVA especially since thats one of the hardest schools in the nation to get into

Wow, I applied to JMU and Vtech too and those look pretty good.

We can only hope...

I'm pretty sure those are incorrect-- they've been known to give numbers completely out of sync with what the college's web site says, for instance, or what other sites say.

Take 'em with a grain of salt.
