Collegeboard is being overaccesseddd!@

I dont think thats the problem. I just think collegeboard is having some weird problem and actually hasnt entered everyone's scores yet. Because i can enter the site but i cant enter my account.

is it STILL not loaded??? how long is this going to take, and how did the others get to see theirs??

Those who know your scores, can you still go on to see them now?

I keep clicking sign in, but I keep getting that horrible temporarily unavailable window or it just doesn't load! Does anyone know when the traffic will die down? Ah forget it-when someone mentions a time, everyone will just flock at that time. There is no chance for me to get my scores!!!

All day in school people were checking their scores. I waited to get home. Now it's been over an hour, and still BUSY!

Its a scheme by the collegeboard to torture us so that we will pay the extra money to hear our scores by phone, lol.

ahhh same problem here. its so annoying. i get both a temporarily unavailable and an error screen. it will let me get as far as clicking on the get and send scores button before it stops. this is cruel.

well maybe if everyone stopped rechecking....!!
hey, why don't they just have a system where: the first time you try to get your score, you're given a number (like when you order pizza) and told the time to come back like: X - your number is 006 - please check for your score in 3 minutes..." And then someone who tries like an hour later will be later in the queque - and that way its first come first serve!! HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO PROPERLY ORGANISE THIS THING!! I think it is a scheme to force you to call...

Yep, I can't get on the site. OH. WELL. I don't mind waiting a little longer...

can the people who accessed their scores before get theri scores now?

Collegeboard is completely down now. So much for the situation getting better.

There were rumors all day about when the scores came out; there was "some came out, but not all" and "I saw them, but then they disappeared." A whole lot of kids took over our computer center, logged on to CB, and kept on refreshing the pages. Desperation like that is pathetic, imo.

However, I would expect better from CB. Whatever...

Can Someone Tell Me The Phone Number Of The Score Thing!?!?

Blazedd, I couldn't agree more. The computer room in my school today was in such a sadly funny state today--people desperately clicking refresh and refresh, going HYSTERICAL over scores--NUMBERS FOR GOD'S SAKE, NUMBERS THAT BECOME LABELS IN THE COLLEGE PROCESS.

The saddest thing was that I got swept up in the madness, too. Years later, I'll look back on this and have a good laugh

rrrrrrrr Its not working!!!!

CB can kiss my buttocks if this is in any way, shape, or form a "scheme" to get me to give them more money so I can find out my scores over the phone.

Things should be fine tomorrow, people. There is way too much frenzy over and emphasis on scores that it's ridiculous.

I'm starting to lose patience, oh god, plz let me log in the freaking website.

It's funny how there's about 10 different threads on this topic on this forum...

Good thing I saw my scores a few hours ago, or I would have been a part of this madness.

You wont get on, the server with the scores is down.

I can prove it in 4 steps:

Open command prompt.

Enter "ping apps.collegeboard.com -n 9999"

Watch as the site doesn't reply.

Realize you killed the site.

Why don't they just e-mail scores out? That would be so much easier and would prevent madness like this. Or why the HELL does it cost $10 to call for scores, when it's free online?

This itself is a trivial matter- everyone can wait for scores. But it is a prime example of the general poor management of the whole company. No for-profit company could EVER stay in business if it were run this terribly.

It costs $10 because they have to pay operators to sit infront of phones all-day-long.
