collegeboard is irresponsible.

hellow friends ,i requested my dec 4 sat scores to be sent to a university and guess what the scores got lost on its way to the university.i requested them to send it again for free but they havent done that yet.i was lucky that the university accepted the scanned copy via email of the hard copy of my score.
just shows how iresponsible they are.

Depends on how you view it. The usual culprit for a lost score is the university not CB (school likely received score but failed to match it to your application file). If that is the case in your situation then the university’s choosing to accept a copy of the scores means the party that was actually at fault properly corrected the situation so that you are not charged for a resend.

Yeah, the college board usually gets it there, then it gets lost in their thousands of documents. That happened to me with ACT for Emory, and they’re contacting ACT for the scores so that I don’t have to pay again.

What concerns me more about the College Board is that they let you pay extra to rush an electronic submission of scores…

According to one college, they download regular electronic scores once a week and rushed scores every day. Maybe this is standard? There’s really no reason for it, though, just to make people pay more.

well i contacted with the university and they assured me that they had no part in the score being lost.so i guess all the fault is of either collegeboard or the postal service that they send the score through.
