Collegeboard's 4 free SAT score reports

I took my first SAT in June and have not sent any colleges my scores yet. Now I want to send the USNA my scores, but it says it costs 9.50. How do I use my 4 free score reports?

You can't. You have to name the 4 schools before your scores come out for them to be free.

Chedva is right. You'll have to pay for them.

you have to pay because they want your money. They hate you, you hate them.

So should you put 4 schools to send your scores to the first time you take the SAT??

Each time you take the SAT you can put down 4 schools, but, yes, you have to do it before you take the test.

If you aren't sure where you'll be applying (your scores might influence that decision, of course) then you're best biting the bullet and paying to send your scores later. It blows, but it's one of the reasons the College Board's average salary is over !00K per year.

Wait, if it costs $9.50 to send the scores to 1 school, then it costs $38 to send it to 4 schools. Therefore wouldn't it cost less to send your scores to 4 schools by taking a subject test and sending your scores with the free SAT score reports. I don't know, the SAT fees are so weird.

Yes, it would. That's the other way to get your 4 free reports - take another test and send the results free. Of course, you'll have to send them before you know the score on the last subject test.
