do AP scores impact your college app? do ur AP scores impact the decision made by college admissions??? i heard a rumor that colleges dont see AP scores until AFTER you have been accepted and this is only for credit and placement...its never used for admissions

They look at your AP classes, but I dont know if they look at your AP scores.

for the most part, that's true. I'm a senior and AP scores aren't released until July (I believe, around there). All colleges have made decisions and such by then, so they can't use the score for admission. They will use it to place me into classes and give me credit. Really, it's a good system.

I suppose if you were a sophomore or junior, you could include your AP scores on your application. The thing is, most colleges have so many other things to look at, they won't place much weight on that - they just want to see that you're trying to be successful.

but a 5 on Bc calc, Phys C, chem or bio, english or any other real AP (not stats, psy, econ, gov) looks real nice, but you gotta squeeze it in junior year
