The school year just ended, and unfortunately I found out that my GPA went even lower. My school does not use weighted GPAs, and my GPA (I'm a sophomore, going to be a junior) is now 3.83. By the time I apply for college, the highest my GPA will get is 3.88 which is really disappointing for me (I was really hoping for 3.9+)

My goal is to go to an ivy league (or, it was) or a top 10 undergrad med school. As a sophomore, I've taken Chemistry AP and AP US History, and I've already scored a 35 on my ACT this year. Next year I'll be taking World AP, German AP, 11 English AP, Bio AP, and Music Theory AP.

I'm a chairperson of many clubs, a winner/participant of many piano competitions ranging from local - international. Also a regular volunteer and member of many city youth councils and a surgical lab researcher.

The reason I'm so worried is that there are so many kids with 4.0's at my school and usually about 10 out of our class of 500+ get into an ivy league. This year, only one person got into Harvard with a 4.0 and many people with 4.0's and perfect 2400 SATs and 36 ACTs don't get in.
How much will this GPA affect my chances of getting into an ivy league or top 10 school? Thanks for your input.
