<p>Hi, can you please "chance me" based on the info below.</p>

<p>Asian male, engineering major, applying to:<br>
Carnegie Mellon (CIT)
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Cornell
Duke
Georgia Tech
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Northeastern </p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>3.8 unweighted GPA
Over 5 weighted GPA
Top 10% of high school graduating class (high school doesn't rank by #, only by %)
SATs: 1850 [550 critical reading, 680 math, 620 writing)
All honors/AP courses & mostly A's in all (all As in both math and science)</p>

<p>Planning on taking SATs again & subject tests.</p>

<p>Extracurricular:</p>

<p>Volunteer Clubs (3) in my school (Serving as President of one of them)
Student Council - Member
National Honors Society - Member
200+ hours of community service
Students Opposed to Starvation - Member</p>

<p>Letters of Recommendation - Excellent letters. </p>

<p>What are my chances of getting accepted by the above schools?</p>

<p>well the only one i can really speak for is duke and i got straight up rejected from early decision with a little bit higher scores and GPA than you so i would recommend striving for the other ones. but u never know</p>

<p>I think most of your schools are high matches to low reaches (maybe some mid reaches thrown in). Good luck either way. </p>
