Colleges for a mediocre kid?

I’m not sure till what age you will be able to get EAD through your parents’ application.

I agree; I believe U Minn Morris is the least expensive Liberal Arts College in the U.S. for an international student.

The OP would be an honors student there. It is a fun place to go to school, and a great financial safety liberal arts school. (More expensive than Bemidji but has the liberal arts focus the OP is looking for.)

Talya, technically speaking my father is a dependent and he got an EAD through my mother’s Green Card application, so I doubt I would have a whole lot of issues with that (unless USCIS differentiates between dependents - putting spouses and children in different categories)

PoliticsFreak, children are not dependents after the certain age, most certainly after college graduation. I’m not telling you will not be able to get EAD through your mother’s application, I’ve never research that issue and I do not know. If I were you I would check if you will still be eligible for EAD status after graduation. It is possible that you will be part of application and get GC with your family regardless of how long it will take because the process was started before you reach that age, but there is a good possibility it’s not the case.

Another “public LAC” is Truman State U in Missouri.

Truman state international tuition

Warmer weather but more expensive than the Minnesota schools;Truman State tuition is $3000 per year higher than UM Morris, $5500 per year higher than Bemidji.
