Colleges for Engineering

I've read around and I know that Muir and Warren are the top 2, but Warren people seem to say its kind of dull and stuff compared to Muir, but is the best for Engineering. Also, if I put Muir second, are my chances of getting in very slim? I'm wondering if I should go for Muir even though I'm going for an engineering major..

You can't get into Muir if you put it second choice. But engineering... I personally would put Warren because they make GEs easier for engineers and the dorms are closest to the engineering buildings, but your friend is right about it being more dull. I prefer to call it peaceful. (FYI, this is coming from a Muir student.) Warren also has really nice apartments for second years.

How do you recommend me to rank the colleges as a prospective engineering student?

Warren

Marshall?

Sixth?

ERC?

Revelle?

Muir?

I personally think 2 and 3 are pretty interchangeable, and you won't get into your fourth fifth or sixth choices if you got into UCSD at all, I don't think. It's pretty uncommon.
