Colleges for English speakers in Europe/UK

Where does one begin such a search? What are some names to begin with. Okay...there's Oxford and Cambridge...but beyond that, especially on the continent, how does one search or what are some names to consider?

Look at Saint Andrews and Edinburgh in Scotland. Manchester and Imperial in England. Trinity College of Dublin in Ireland.

As for English-speaking colleges on the continent, the American University in Rome is supposed to be good.

Jacobs University Bremen. It somehow combines an American with a European college education.

OK i will give you a general list of good colleges in the UK
Cambridge
Oxford
London school of Economics and Political Science
Imperial College
University College London
Warwick University
University of St. Andrew's
University of Durham
City College London
Bristol University
Bath University
Kings College London
University of Manchester
University of Edinburgh
Nottingham University

These are the top ones that come to mind.

Obviously, look at the colleges in English speaking countries, then move onto American Universities. I believe there are a few around Europe in addition to the one in Rome, though I may be wrong. I also looked at Franklin College in Switzerland, which I would have loved to go to if my parents would have agreed!

John Cabot University, in Italy.

Thanks! With an English-only speaker moving to Europe, having some "local" university options may be important. I am at the steepest part of the learning curve on this...the beginning...with this for my momentum. I really, really appreciate those who have answered my call for help.

To apply to a UK school you have to use ucas

This lists every school in the UK.

Also consider Ireland. They speak English there you know!
