Colleges for investment banking

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Baruch as well. They seem to send a lot of grads onto IB and Wall Street jobs. It is closeby to NJ, and you should have no problems getting in.

The rest of the target schools honestly will be tough for you. They are a toss-up for almost anyone (<10% admissions rates). Unless you have a serious hook (URM, legacy, development, recruited athlete). Otherwise focus on one of the other schools where you can get a decent amount of aid.

You brother applied to an OOS public university - these fund instate residents so basically there’s no financial aid to have there (there’s some merit aid but it requires really high stats). Private universities don’t work like that. So, run the NPC and come back with numbers (EFC, a couple NPC results - ID suggest Rutgers, Baruch, and a couple private universities.)

Yeah I told my parents about Rutgers and baruch they said they can pay a majority for those, they’re up there in my lists also, I just thought that such a small percentage of people in ib come from there it would be harder path going to those schools

Yes, if you go there you must be among the top students and in honors.
But if by chance you’re admitted to Middlebruy, Colgate, or Notre Dame, you have to be among the best too…
